The most famous cafe at the Palace of Versailles is Angelina, where the French pastries and hot chocolate are to die for!

You can explore a diverse menu here if you’re in a hurry but craving some sweet treats.

The cafe remains closed on Mondays.

Alain Ducasse’s Ore restaurant at the Palace of Versailles offers breakfast, lunch and tea.

Since you’re visiting the former home of Louis XIV, the special dessert on the menu, Le Louis XIV is a must-try.

You can also try out some mouth-watering light meals, like croque monsieur and guinea fowl, that will treat your palate with flavor.

The restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Tuesday to Sunday: 9 am to 5.30 pm
Saturdays: Additional hour from 7 pm to 8 pm.

La Petite Venise

The Palace of Versailles’ La Petit Venise has mastery of all types of dishes, from simple to complex.

You will find a grilled octopus but also a classic pizza.

Its menu, curated for summertime, includes crepes, coffee and ice cream that will completely refresh you.

Monday to Sunday: 11.45 am to 6 pm (April to October)
Tuesday to Sunday: 11.45 am to 5 pm (November to March)

Brasserie de la Girandole

This soulful outdoor restaurant has two sections, the sit-down area and the fast food takeaway section.

The menu of Brasserie de la Girandole will satisfy your savory taste buds with its selection of burgers, salads, fries and steaks.

The chilled wines swirl perfectly with the hot and delicious food.

La Flottille

La Flottille at the Palace of Versailles also offers an option of indoor or outdoor dining with a view of a lake.

The Flottille takeaway is also available right next door.
